SHE wonders:
- Where is he when you need him?
- He loves me… he loves me not.
- Why can’t he hear me…not fix me?
- I am giving more than what I am receiving from him.

LOL!I agree. In Japan, there is a book called “men who don’t listen to, women who can’t read maps”. I s the saying “Women consider with their womb” from Europe/US?
“The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify most of these items. A man has six items in his bathroom: a toothbrush, tooth paste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from the Holiday Inn. A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument. “
i always thought that was such a cheesy title for a book, but i read it a couple years ago and got a lot of insight into those romantic miscommunications.
lol. ain’t it the truth!
How appropriate for this class. And if we each learned to speak the language of Mars or Venus, or at the very least..learn it a little, communication would be so much easier.
I agree with WendyJ. This book may help our field of tesol. It may be helpful to help communicate with the other sex but also with each other in general. We should be careful not to generalize, though. That also becomes a hindrance to our listening.
